Martina has been teaching yoga since 2008. She originally completed her Yoga Teacher Training through Georgian College under the guidance of Heather Stanley in 2010. Since then Martina has gained new insight into her own teaching by both leading and experiencing many different styles of yoga classes including pre and post natal classes as well as seniors yoga. Martina brings many elements of her own experiences to her practise; she has taken several Vipassana Meditation courses and has completed Dr. Bill Knight’s “Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction” course. Martina uses all of these experiences in her classes to highlight the importance of being present, and breathing. As well she brings a wide variety of postures to her Hatha yoga class. Martina’s unique style of yoga is simple, effective, and inviting for everyone. Her demeanor is peaceful, and her classes encourage others to look deep within for the answers they seek. Martina inspires others to create a union between body, mind, and soul.
